Saturday Farmers Market

San Ignacio's Saturday market is one of the Belize’s largest outdoor markets. You can easily spend an hour or two wandering from vendor to vendor. Produce here is quite affordable, so bring some small bills.

In addition to produce, you can find products particular to Belize, like Maya herbal remedies. Mennonites are known for their agricultural skill, as well as their dairy — try some Mennonite cheese while you’re here. This is also a great place to browse locally made clothes and handicrafts.
