Nayara Springs is an adults-only resort that caters to adventurous couples. These luxurious guest villas are a short distance outside of Arenal Volcano National Park.
From your resort it is a 20-minute drive to the Arenal Volcano National Park. You can choose from a number of different hikes through the rainforest, including a hike to see a lake in the crater of Cerro Chato, an extinct volcano that offers a challenging hike. Near the entrance to the park you can visit La Fortuna, a famously beautiful waterfall with a bright-blue plunge pool. While you’re in the area, make sure to check out the local hot springs. Visit Arenal’s Tabacón Hot Springs to swim in the cascades and the multi-tiered pools. Nayara Springs is also just a few minutes away from Arenal Natural, an ecological park that is an excellent spot for bird watching.
Guest accommodations are located in the Springs Villa, which is named for the fresh water springs that feed the pool on villa’s patio. This villa has boutique furniture and an open floor plan, letting tropical color inform the space’s breezy aesthetic. The spacious porch with comfortable furniture and hammocks will allow you to enjoy the Costa Rican environment as much as possible. This villa also comes with its own scenic garden.
In your room you’ll get to sleep in a four-poster bed. You’ll feel like you’re in your own spa in the private bathroom that comes equipped with tile walls and a rain showerhead. There are also upscale bathroom amenities and a hair dryer. Leave your worries behind and lock up your valuables in the room’s safety deposit box. Your romantic space will remain spotless thanks to the twice-daily maid service. There is also a complimentary laundry service.
You can access high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Rooms come with phones that you can use to make complimentary local and international calls. Stay entertained with the villa’s flat-screen satellite cable TV and DVD player, and listen to music on the villa’s iHome audio system. Feel free to check out the hotel’s supply of free movies.
Guests can stay in shape in the on-site fitness center. There is also a large pool where you can paddle around or swim laps. You can also take advantage of the hotel’s daily yoga sessions at the resort’s yoga pavilion, with floor-to-ceiling walls and polished wood. The yoga pavilion is part of the hotel’s spa, where you can also sign up for exfoliation, massages, and skin treatments.
Rooms have minibars with some complimentary drinks. Head downstairs to check out the piano lounge for some live music. Sidle up to the bar for a tropical cocktail, or whatever other libation strikes your fancy.
Breakfast is included in your stay. You can visit the breakfast buffet, or elect to be served breakfast in your room. Guests can choose from several different restaurants that are all located on the hotel grounds. Kali Kali Pool Bar serves poolside snacks and drinks. The Altamira and Amor Loco restaurants have upscale international choices as well as Costa Rican fare. Change up your routine at the Sushi Amor restaurant, which offers traditional sushi as well as Latin-Japanese fusion. At the Nostalgia Bar you can sample a wide variety of wine and tapas.
