On this road biking trip around Lake Arenal, riders will coast along rolling hills and enjoy stunning scenery. This wonderful excursion is perfect for beginners and intermediate riders.
The trip will begin with a trail across the Arenal Dam, traveling along the north side of the beautiful Lake Arenal. Guests will enjoy a relaxing ride through tropical forests where they'll have a chance to see monkeys and colorful birds. This biking trip will also allow you to experience Costa Rica's rural life at its best. At the end of the trip, the group will stop for lunch at a typical restaurant.
In total you'll ride 12 to 22 miles (18 a 35 km) along a paved road. This route is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders.
The tour departs La Fortuna at 8:00 AM and returns between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
