Go hiking and boating through Corcovado National Park on this full-day tour. You’ll get to explore the beaches and rivers of of Costa Rica’s most bio-diverse environment.
Corcovado National Park is home to over 300 species of birds, over 60 amphibians and reptiles, and 6 species of cat. In addition there are over 1,500 species of tree. The rarest animals in the park are tapirs, white-lipped peccaries, jaguars, and silky anteaters.
The tour begins at 8:00 am. You’ll start out with a 45-minute boat ride down the Sierpe River, past the largest protected mangrove in Central America. This is one of the most interesting sites on the tour for bird watching.
Once you reach the San Pedrillo Ranger Station you’ll start on your hike through the forest. This tour provides a professional guide that will be able to tell you more about the intense wildlife.
Around 3:00 pm your group will return to the ranger station for lunch. Then you’ll head back to Sierpe where you’ll have a chance to change clothes and drink a cold beverage.
Hiking boots, bug spray, sunscreen, light clothes, a change of clothes, and a rain coat. Your passport copy or photo is required to enter the park, no single-use plastic bottles will be allowed
