There is no better way to experience the Costa Rican shoreline than to dive deep with a Scuba instructor. Even if you have never dived before this tour is a perfect way to get your feet wet.

On the shores of Marino Ballena National Park, you will find some of the best scuba diving in all of Latin America. Thousands of reef fish, large corals and sharks are hiding underneath the surface. Costa Rica’s marine life is bright and abundant. Your guide will point out sea urchins, pelagic fish and other creatures.

If you have never gone scuba diving before this tour will teach you the basics in a beautiful underwater environment. A dive master will take you under and stay with you throughout your dives and they might even inspire you to come back and get your certification.

The tour leaves from Playa Uvita where you will get your gear. Then you will take a quick boat ride out to the dive spot. With the wind and sea spray in your face it is an enjoyable and relaxing start to the tour. You may even spot whales, dolphins or sea turtles depending on the season.

You have the choice of a half day or full day tour but both will give you two dives and time to relax on the boat. The full day tour also offers time to hike, sit on the sand or play beach volleyball on the island.
