Let Harold know what you think!
This safari float is the perfect way to explore the rainforest with the whole family, offering a gentle alternative to a rafting tour. There’s plentiful wildlife in this part of the rainforest, and the water is slow-moving enough that you’ll have plenty of time to look for animals as you drift through the greenery. Your guides have excellent experience spotting animals in the area, and ensure that you’re comfortable as you drift down the river on an innertube.
As you float, you’ll have the chance to see monkeys, lizards, and crocodiles near the banks of the river. River otters might swim near your boat, and your guide can help you check some species off your bird watching list – ospreys, herons, kingfishers, and parrots all live in the forest here. At the end of the tour, you’ll have a break for a fresh fruit snack, and then you’ll return to the starting point for lunch at a Costa Rican restaurant.
Note that this river could change location – it may take place in the Tenorio River, but sometimes the river gets too low and your guides will bring you to the Corobici River instead. This is a calm river surrounded by dense vegetation.
