Manuel Antonio National Park Guided Tour
The Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most beautiful National Parks in the world, according to Forbes magazine in 2010, in the top 12. In our country is also the most visited National Park due to its wide variety of flora and fauna. The park has 4 different beaches, of white sand, calm waves and 3 different trails to explore that go from flat to very steep. On this tour a very knowledgeable nature guide will walk you through the Manuel Antonio National Park, explaining the wonders of the wildlife and the forest that is within the National Park. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course about 2 miles long. Throughout your hike your guide will stop and teach you about the park's natural history, which include exhaustive descriptions of animals and plants that can be observed during the hike. Along the way, you can take pictures or just admire the view. In Manuel Antonio there are 3 of 4 species of monkeys existing in Costa Rica, one of them is in danger of extinction, and the guide will explain you the reasons and how to help revert the situation. Half way through the hike, you will enjoy a snack break, consisting in fruits and water, at the end of the tour the guide will let you to spend a leisure time at the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio Beach or Third Beach. At the end of the beach time you can decide and choose from the two different return transfer to your Hotel, right after the swimming at the beach, or you can have more time at your own at the beach or inside the National Park and return in the second transfer at 3:00pm to your Hotel.
Throughout the hike is common to see sloths, birds and reptiles as well as admire orchids, butterflies and tropical trees. Your guides are equipped with top quality telescopes, so you can observe wildlife and take pictures from a different perspective. Once the tour is over transportation will be provided and you will be taken back to your hotel. The Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Tuesdays
