Nammbú Beachfront Bungalows offer breezy accommodations on the beach of Playa Carrillo. This beach is on the Pacific side of the Nicoya Peninsula, an area that has some of the prettiest beaches in the whole country.

Parts of Playa Carrillo beach have good enough surf for surfing lessons. It’s a crescent-shaped beach on Carillo Bay, and is lined with palm trees. This is a lovely place to go for a swim. From Playa Carrillo you can take an hour-long drive to Playa Nosara, which is one of the most popular beaches on the Nicoya Peninsula. This is also a popular surfing spot, and some of the smaller local beaches, like Playa Guiones, are well-known attractions for serious surfers.

On the patio you can visit an enormous, 3,200 square foot (297 sq m) swimming pool. Swim to the edge of the pool to see the waves crashing on the nearby beach. The dining room overlooks both the swimming pool and the beach.

Guest accommodations are broken up into multiple buildings throughout the property. All of the space feels roomy and elegant, with high ceilings and calming, muted designs. From the balcony (or terrace) you'll get to feel the fresh sea breeze. Basic rooms come with two queen beds that have orthopedic mattresses. Each room also has a living area where you can watch the 50-inch LCD cable TV.

Other convenient room amenities include telephones and mini fridges. You can store your valuables in a safety deposit box, and the hotel has 24-hour security. Spacious bathrooms come with hot water, a shower, and a separate bathtub.
