Papagayo Golden Palms is a hotel on the edge of the Panamá Bay. Guests come here for a plush getaway near a lovely beach.
Take a short walk from the hotel to Panamá Beach and Chorotega Beach. Chorotega Beach has fish traps that were built by indigenous people, and you’ll be able to see them at low tide. Papagayo Gulf has incredible wildlife, and you can come to the shore to do some bird watching while pelicans dive for fish. Humans also love to fish in this area, and you can sign up to have a professional guide take you out on their boat.
There is a large outdoor pool, as well as a patio with a thatched roof. The hotel restaurant overlooks the pool and has cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients. Between the pool and the beach you can take a pleasant stroll in the gardens, and in the trees surrounding the pool you can see howler monkeys and iguanas.
All of the suites have lovely soft lighting and furniture made by local artisans. Air conditioning keeps the rooms comfortable, and the Wi-Fi makes it easy to keep in touch with the rest of the world. In the living room guests can recline on the sofa bed, and write a few postcards at the room’s desk. When you have some downtime, flip through the channels on the cable TV.
One of the suite’s nicest features is the private terrace. You can fix yourself a drink at the mini-bar and have your own sunset happy hour. Store your belongings in the safety deposit box. In the morning, you can make yourself a fresh cup of coffee that comes supplied with organic coffee.
Suites have spacious private bathrooms with upscale toiletries. Guests will find their powder rooms equipped with a hair dryer and a makeup mirror.
