Let Harold know what you think!
This tour - situated upon a 475-hectare (1,200 acre) private reserve - provides a wonderful opportunity to spot some of Costa Rica's most fabulous avian species.
At the beginning of your tour, you'll be given a birding booklet, which will help you to spot and identify the birds you find. Over 403 different species of birds have been spotted in this primary rainforest, so have your eyes peeled and ready! Accompanied by experienced naturalist guides, you'll ride across an aerial tram, providing you with jaw-dropping views of the forest canopy and an unparalleled location from which to look for birds. During this tour, you'll also walk along paved forest trails that are perfect for setting up a tripod to photograph the animals. There are several lookout points along the walk as well, which offer up wonderful locations to search for the birds, take pictures, or simply enjoy the scenery.
