Near downtown San José, the airport, and the notably beautiful Parque de la Sabana, this bright and cheerful hotel offers convenience as well as luxury.
Costa Rica isn’t famous among travelers for its big cities, probably because it only has one: the capital, San José. The city has a few key advantages. It’s close to the international airport and is well connected to many other parts of the country. From rafting rivers to touring coffee plantations to browsing upscale urban shops, you certainly can find a variety of entertainment in or near San José.
Whether you’re here for work or vacation, the Palma Real Hotel and Casino can outfit your time suitably. With well-appointed rooms, a restaurant and bar in-house, and centers for working and working out, you can take your time as leisurely or seriously as you like.
At the most basic level, the Superior Rooms contain hardwood floors, a large flat screen television, and a work desk. A few pieces of art decorate the walls, and area rugs cushion the floor. Beds are outfitted with luxury comforters, and the room is air-conditioned. Oversized windows and colorful palettes make for bright accommodations.
If you upgrade to a Junior Suite, your room will come with an adjoined sitting area with seating and tables. The work desk is larger in this suite, and you can enjoy all the other accouterments of a Superior Room here. A master suite provides two bedrooms, a separate living area, and a kitchenette.
You can access the Wi-Fi from each room. The hotel also offers meeting facilities; multiple rooms can hold 50 or 100 people. A business center provides computers, photocopiers, and a fax machine. Meanwhile, a fitness center on the top floor has machines and views that might inspire you to work out a little harder than usual.
The house restaurant offers a buffet and an à la carte menu. Breakfast is included in your stay. In the lobby, a bar (with a nightly happy hour) and live music go hand in hand with the glitzy decor.
