There are all kinds of trails and routes that wind through the Hacienda Pozo Azul property. The longer trails are about 2.5 miles (4 km) long, while the shorter options stretch just under a mile. The hiking surface depends on the trail but includes gravel, dirt, pasture, and concrete. Appropriately, these hiking tours are open to people of all ages and physical abilities. They can be tailored to fit your particular needs or desires.
The trails vary in their setting. Some wind through the jungle and offer up excellent opportunities for spotting birds, butterflies, and reptiles. Other trails hug the river or head to impressive waterfalls. A trained naturalist guide is available to accompany you on the tours. The guides teach you about the surrounding environment and help you spot birds, mammals, insects and more.
