Tortuguero is the sea turtle capital of Costa Rica. Needless to say, nature enthusiasts will love this place. What’s more, the hotel is a short distance from the main entrance to the Tortuguero National Park.

The rooms are set in attractive wooden buildings and bungalows. The rooms are spacious and simply decorated. All are equipped with comfortable beds and private bathrooms with hot water showers. Ceiling fans keep the rooms a pleasant temperature. Bungalows have a private porch and are completely immersed in the rainforest—these are a good choice for travelers who want to wake up to the sounds of the jungle.

The Evergreen Lodge has a bar and restaurant. The restaurant serves up buffet-style meals that are included in the cost of a room. The dining room has soaring ceilings and a lovely atmosphere.

When you’re not out exploring Tortuguero, you can relax beside the turtle-shaped swimming pool or soak in the hot tub. You might even decide to book a canopy tour on the hotel’s own property. The canopy tour includes eight platforms and is an exciting way to experience the outdoors in Costa Rica.
