This tour will give you an intimate experience at a chocolate farm followed by a boat trip along the longest river in Cuba.
The guides will pick you up at 9:00 am from your hotel. First you will get an up close look at the world of Latin American chocolate farming. They will share the history and industrialization of the chocolate business. The farmers provide a friendly atmosphere for guests. They will show you the entire chocolate process starting with the cocoa fruit and ending with a cup of chorote, a traditional drink of Baracoa.
Next you will head to Rancho Toa. You will take a boat ride along the longest river in Cuba. You can kayak along the shores if you wish or hike the Playa Duaba. During your time here you can see the unique geographical phenomenon, Tibaracón. Or you can just bathe in the river. The boat will return you to the ranch for lunch and transportation back to the city.
