Siboney is a small village with a beach, and it’s located just to the east of Santiago de Cuba. This beach is quite popular with locals due to its proximity to the city.
While you’re in Siboney you can stop by the farmhouse where Castro prepared to make his pivotal attack on the Moncada Barracks. Siboney also has interesting architecture, and lots of historically significant beaux-arts and art deco mansions.
It's more than just having a good time or visiting beautiful places (although that's absolutely a part of it!), it's about being part of a unique experience that stays with you.
