Casa Daymi is a home in the Viñales region of Cuba.
Viñales is a small town surrounded by a national park. Coffee plantations and tobacco farms set a rustic scene, with the massic 160 million-year-old mogotes (lime rock plateaus) and their mysterious hidden caverns rising just over the valley. The town itself is quaint and charming; the main street is dotted with cafés and restaurants, a lovely botanical garden not too far off the main road, farmer’s markets, and frequent craft fairs. Locals and foreigners come together at La Casa de Cultura, located in the town center, to dance the night away to Cuban music.
Casa Daymi offers guests one private air-conditioned bedroom and their own bathroom with hot and cold water. The terrace on the second floor looks out onto a panoramic view of the city, the mogotes and the gorgeous sunset.
Your host lives in the house, but you will have complete privacy. Cuban hosts are very friendly, and also respectful. Prepared meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), cocktails and taxi arrangement and are available to guests at an extra cost.
