I’ve been working in tourism for over twelve years. I’ve worked as a receptionist in hotels and also taught Spanish as a second language for international travelers. I love showing people my beautiful country.

I’m originally from San José and currently live in La Fortuna, but I love Monteverde. Monteverde is the perfect place for people who like to be face-to-face with nature (like me!). Monteverde is like a sanctuary where you can sleep peacefully and wake up to the sounds of birds.

In addition to my work in tourism, I’m a volunteer firefighter and am studying accounting. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier, who I love to take hiking and biking. He is a part of my family and when I travel, I try to find pet friendly places. I also enjoy television series that deal with crime and investigation – CSI and Criminal Minds are two of my favorites.
