One of the best things about being a travel professional is getting to share some of my favorite placed with travelers like you. One of the destinations I most enjoy visiting is Monteverde, Costa Rica; this area is so peacful and if you enjoy cooler weather, this is the place you need to be.

Monteverde, Costa Rica is great place to relax in the beauty of nature, but you can also plan adventure experiences wiht your family or friends — Monteverde is fantastic for adventure vacations, but I have to admit I also love the beach. Costa Rica is a magical country, and this is obvious when you visit our beautiful beaches such as Tamarindo, Samara, and Conchal.

I love getting outside with my two beautiful children, Abby and Santiago — they bring happiness and hope into my life, so I try to bring magical times into theirs, which is easy when there is so much beauty and excitement to be found in Costa Rica. Like a 'Buen Tico' (Good Costa Rican), I enjoy playing soccer, which is another activity I get to share with my children.

Our people, 'The Ticos,' are so friendly and happy. For this reason, our slogan is ""Pura Vida"" (Pure Life). Don't be surprised when you hear these words everywhere, because we use them for everything! For example, to say: ""Hello!,"" ""Goodbye!,"" how you're feeling, when everything is wonderful, and many more expressions...you simply state, ""Pura Vida!""
