Hello, my name is Percy and I am a son of the Andes!
I am passionate about gastronomy and wines; I like to cook and have my friends over at my house. When I am hosting people, I like to combine all of the good things that come from South America: Malbec wine from Mendoza, Argentina; the Carménère wine from Chile; and Tannat from Uruguay. With these lovely beverages, I like to serve ceviche, from Perú; asado, from Argentina; and Lechón from Ecuador.
That's one of the things I most love about Ecuador, the way our country combines the best elements of South America. If you're a foodie like I am, I would love to help you plan a gastronomic adventure throughout Ecuador! The best part? Ecuador has so many outdoor activities you can do to help you work off your culinary excursions.

Our 8 day trip to the Galapagos Islands was spectacular. One of the best trips in recent memory. Traveling with kids (11 and 14 years old) was a breeze. The credit for this can be attributed to the careful planning and coordination that Percy and his team provided. Everything, from hotel checking in, transportation (including inter-island ferries) and tours worked like clockwork. The islands were amazing with wonderful sights, natural wonders and diverse wildlife. We got to travel to 5 islands and the activities included numerous snorkeling trips, including swimming with turtles and white tip sharks, a scenic biking tour in Isabella island, and walk through nature reserves with a guide. Wish we had more time to explore other islands. This is our second trip with Anywhere (first was Costa Rica 2 years ago, which was also great).

It Was Hard to Say Goodbye
Ecuador is a beautiful country from Quito all the way to the coast of Guayaquil. It is definitely a must. Percy was amazing in helping us plan our trip, as I must have changed my itinerary about a million times. Even when I had questions during our trip he was right there ready to help and took care of everything. Now, there are no words to describe our driver, (which we were lucky to have for 9 days) Ricardo. He was professional, friendly and went above and beyond to help make our Ecuador experience one to remember. It was sad to say good bye, but one thing is for sure when we plan our next trip to Ecuador we will be asking for Ricardo again.

Words cannot express the wonderful experiences we had in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We try to explain our enthusiasm for our trip to our friends, but words become inadequate and so we simply encourage them to arrange their own adventure to Ecuador/Galapagos through Anywhere! We are anxious to start planning a return trip to explore more of the mainland of Ecuador. We owe a great deal of our curiosity about Ecuador to our driver Ricardo, who was an enthusiastic cheerleader for the country.
An Epic Peruvian Family Journey
Peru is bursting with history, interesting sites and friendly people and tourists from all parts of the world. We wished our hotels were a bit better and should have requested upgrades for a reasonably higher price. We have already recommended Peru to family and friends. Our photos and videos on Facebook have evoked several inquiries. I would certainly like to visit Peru again along with other countries of South America.
