After studying tourism in school for three years, I have worked as a travel professional for almost a decade. Hola! I'm Yahaira, and having worked for hotels, adventure companies, and travel agencies, I can easily say that what I like best about my job is that I get to help people create beautiful memories.
It's so nice to have people tell you that they had a great time in Costa Rica. I spend so much time getting to know the people I'm helping that some of my clients even come by the office to say, ""Hi!"" or ""Thank you!"" I've had clients return to Costa Rica several years in a row, and it's a treat to be able to work with them year after year — planning new adventures.
I live in La Fortuna and love nature, but I'm privileged to have visited many beautiful destinations in Costa Rica. My favorite parks are Chirripoó National Park, and Corcovado National Park. My family — which includes a very active son — loves getting outdoors, and my mother (a wonderful cook) and I usually meet once a week to make different meals. I can recommend some great cooking classes for you to learn how to make gallo pinto, olla de carne, and tamales — just like we do! We live 'Pura Vida,' and with the right vacation, you can too!

Yahaira at Anywhere was wonderful to work with. She provided excellent advice for our family trip and was very knowlegeable to answer all my questions about locations, excursions, resorts, etc. She planned our entire trip making modifications based on my feedback after reviewing the detailed itiniery. She was very patient with all my questions and some late changes in plans. We had a great trip due to her detailed planning. All of the resorts were excellent, every driver showed up as planned, and all of the excursion guides were excellent. I definitely recommend Anywhere and in particular Yahaira!

I would recommend and overall things went well but there were a couple of small issues: First driver San Jose to Arenal - on time, safe driver, wanted to stop for lunch earlier than we did and at a specific place. Second driver - Shared ride Arenal to Boat. Was told we'd be collected at 2:00 PM and to be ready a few minutes earlier. Wasn't collected until 2:35 PM. Third Driver - bus from Lake ARenal to Monteverde - all went fine. Fourth driver - Monteverde to San Jose - all went fine. Best, Sharon

A Magical Adventure for Two
We visited the Arenal and the Tamarindo areas. Tourism appears to be the only industry that we saw. It is obvious that Costa Rica needs tourism to provide for its growth and environmental efforts. It is refreshing to have seen such little development in those areas. Our lower rating for "returning in the future" is because we typicall do not repeat vacations destinations.

Together in Beautiful Costa Rica
Would highly recommend Anywhere to organise any trip. They were extremely helpful,friendly and prompt when answering any questions or emails. Always very flexible doing anything in their power to design a holiday itinerary that suits the individual. Our holiday pretty much went completely to plan, shuttle drivers always on time, and hotels recommended turned out to be above expectations! Adventure-Filled Pura Vida for 3
YES! best tour guides and drivers. Coordination and very nice hotels for the most part. But the best are the staff especially if there is a problem. Available and always helpful. You have the best staff in the tour business! Would definitely use you for our next trip; maybe Belize. Muchas gracias
A Journey with My Besties
A trip for six can be hard to plan, especially when there are so many things you can do on a vacation in Costa Rica. However, Anywhere pulled it off perfectly! We had an amazing time!
