This is an active volcano located precisely in the municipality of San Vicente Pacaya in the department of Escuintla, Guatemala. We will drive for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the starting point of the ascent. Along the way, we will learn a bit about the history and enjoy amazing views

Wear comfortable hiking clothes and sturdy hiking shoes or boots. The terrain can be jagged and uneven, so sandals are not recommended. Additionally, we suggest bringing a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, protein - rich snack and a waterproof jacket.
