Take an afternoon for a self-guided afternoon in one of the most popular waterparks in Asia. It’s home to one of the steepest slides in the region, and offers a way for you to experience the verdant landscape while having a day of exciting family fun. Coming here also contributes to the protection of a habitat for endangered animals; this environmentally conscious park has devoted half of its massive property to preserving the forest.
Slides like the constrictor and the python take you on a wild ride down twists and turns. For a more relaxing experience, plop yourself in an inner tube on the lazy river, and drift through the dense foliage while you keep an eye out for monkeys in the trees. Race your neighbor on the double slides that allow you to take off at the same time as your friend. Test your balance on a ride called the “flow rider,” that allows you to coast down a waterslide on Waterbom’s version of a surfboard. There’s also a kiddie pool especially for young children, with dump buckets and other fixtures to make their outing more than just a regular trip to the pool.
Waterbom Bali has everything you need for a fun afternoon in the sun. When you arrive, you’ll find a locker room where you can safely deposit your valuables. If you want your own space to chill between rides, you can reserve a private gazebo. The park also has towels for rent. There are several eateries on the grounds of the waterpark, including a pizzeria, Thai and Indonesian options, as well as sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs.
