The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort is located in Farallón. This resort is large and stunning—it has lush, tropical grounds and a huge assortment of amenities.
Farallón (also known as Playa Blanca) is a lovely beach along Panama’s Pacific coast. With soft white sand and calm water, it’s quickly becoming one of Panama’s most popular beach destinations. Swimming and sunbathing are the go-to activity here, but other options include boating, jet skiing, fishing, and golfing. The highland town of El Valle – which offers hiking, bird watching, and canopy tours – is about an hour away.
The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort is one of Panama’s most luxurious resorts. It’s big, opulent, and attractive. From the artificial lagoon to the 18-hole golf course, this place has everything you’d ever need (or want) while on vacation. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, with huge trees and sweeping green lawns.
The hotel has Spanish colonial architecture and spreads across three stories. The rooms here are modern and appealing. They have hardwood floors and large balconies that look over the pool or ocean. Every room has a private bathroom, hot water shower, air conditioning, flat-screen cable TV, iPod dock, and wireless Internet. Many of the rooms have marble bathrooms with a separate bathtub and shower.
Guests of Buenaventura can eat at one of the hotel’s many restaurants. These include a sushi spot, a steakhouse, a pizza grill, and an international option. Bars adjoin many of these restaurants and serve a nice variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. The swim-up bar at the pool is especially nice. There are actually two swimming pools, both of which are large and surrounded by lounge chairs and shade umbrellas. The hotel’s spa offers everything from massages to facials and body scrubs. It also has a hydrotherapy area that features Jacuzzis, a sauna and steam room. It’s easy to relax here.
There is a fitness room stocked with cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, and free weights. Guests can head to the resort’s 18-hole golf course for a day on the links. This course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, makes use of the natural landscape and has views of the Pacific coastline.
