Yes, but it is a huge hassle and shouldn’t be attempted unless you plan on being in Panama for a long amount of time. First off, dogs and cats must be quarantined for 30 days upon arrival, although the quarantine can take place in a home and not a kennel. There is also a good amount of paperwork involved that can be difficult to decipher without legal help. And the whole process can’t be started any sooner than 10 days before the trip, as the documents are required to be up-to-date. Leaving Panama with a pet requires another round of paperwork and permissions. All that said, it is technically possible to bring your pet to Panama – but think it over thoroughly first.
