Garden House is two blocks away from the Iquitos’ Plaza de Armas, putting it near some of this small city’s most interesting attractions. Iquitos is also the gateway to the Amazon, and while you’re here you’ll spend your days exploring the jungle.
There are a couple of nearby museums that are worth a visit. The Museum of Indigenous Cultures to learn more about the people that make their home in the Amazon. The Ayapua Steamship Museum is inside the old Ayapua Steamship. Here you’ll find exhibits on the Victorian era, which is when the Amazon experienced its rubber boom. Iquitos’ most popular nightclubs are near the hotel. You can also find a nice selection of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
You can order meals in the hotel’s sunny dining room, and breakfast is included in your stay. There is an outdoor pool next to the lobby, and the landscaping and tropical plants make it a lovely place to go for a swim.
Rooms here have a modern look, with simple decorations and muted colors. All of the rooms have air conditioning, as well as private bathrooms with hot water. You can entertain yourself in your room with the cable television and Wi-Fi.
