On this tour you’ll get a good look at some of the environment that makes Costa Rica an ecological wonder. First you’ll see the Britt coffee plantation, and learn about Costa Rican coffee. Then you’ll head to La Paz waterfall gardens for an outdoor lunch and an informative look at local flora and fauna.
At the coffee nursery, you’ll see how a coffee plant starts its life. Your tour guide will explain what makes this coffee farm sustainable, and the efforts in place to help protect the environment. Visitors will observe the plantation’s method of roasting beans, in preparation for the final transformation into a cup of coffee. Then you’ll stop by the café shop to get some samples of locally made coffee, candies, and chocolates.
During the last part of the tour, you’ll have an unforgettable lunch at the La Paz waterfall gardens. La Paz Waterfall is 121 feet (37 m) tall, and plunges through dense greenery into a misty pool. This is just one of several sizable waterfalls on the property. After you eat, you can stroll the paths through the grounds.
