Let Harold know what you think!
This tour takes place on a series of zip line cables, and is designed to make you feel like you’re traveling through the rainforest like monkey. Along the way you’ll have a good chance of spotting some monkeys, as well as exotic birds.
On this tour, visitors have two different courses to pick from. You can go on the original canopy tour, which covers 11 zip-lining cables. Or, sign up for the extreme canopy tour and experience exhilarating cables as well as a rappel and a Tarzan swing. All of these tours take place in the dense canopy of the Guanacaste forest. Your instructor will make sure you feel comfortable with the equipment.
The original canopy tours has cables of varying lengths —the shortest is 164 feet (50 m) and the longest is 1,312 feet (400 m). In addition to the zip lines, there are three caopy bridges.
Visitors on the extreme canopy tour will put on superman-style harnesses, which make riders feel like they're flying. The shortest line is 918 feet (280 m), and the longest 1,476 feet (450 m). To take the rappel and Tarzan rides take off from 72-foot (22 m) platforms.
