At Yabá Chiguí Lodge you can pick from four bungalows next to a scenic river, surrounded by the jungle. This lodge is a short distance from the Ojochal beach town.
While you’re in Ojochal you should take a scenic horseback riding tour to the Nauyaca Waterfall. Kayak along the coast of South Pacific, or set sail on a whale or dolphin watching tour. With a room at Yaba Chiguí Lodge, you’ll be a 20-minute drive south of Uvita, where you can find a good beach for snorkeling and swimming. At Uvita you can also visit the Marino Ballena National Park — humpback whales swim near the coast from April to December. From May to October visitors have the chance to see Oliver Ridley and hawksbill sea turtles.
Here you’ll get to book a bungalow that’ perched on stilts. The roofs have overhanging eaves, which is a design based on indigenous homes. In your bungalow, you’ll have a mini-fridge and a safety deposit box. While you’re here you’ll get to sleep on a comfortable, king-sized bed (one of the bungalows also comes with a queen-sized trundle).
Three of the Bungalows also have small sofa and all bungalow have ceiling fans. Three bungalow have an outdoor deck with patio furniture. All of the bungalows have bathroom facilities, and there are three with open-air showers. Bathrooms also have hair dryers.
Yabá Chiguí operates like a bed and breakfast, and a freshly prepared breakfast is included in your stay. You can access the free Wi-Fi connection in the dining room.
Guests can gather at the swimming pool, and there is a massage room where you can unwind. Wander in the lodge’s gardens and familiarize yourself with Costa Rica’s flora.
