Does Cuba Have Good Seafood?
Cuba is famous for its fishing, especially in Varadero. Sea bass and snapper are especially tasty varieties of local seafood. You can also find lots of lobster and shrimp. Seafood is fresh, but Cubans tend to like their seafood (especially lobster) to be more thoroughly cooked than most Americans and Europeans would prefer.

Varadero is Cuba’s most popular beach destination. Less than a 2-hour drive from Havana, Veradero extends onto a long, narrow peninsula and boasts blazing white-sand beaches and warm turquoise water.
