The rooms here are divided into three rows of villas. You can choose from villas that are right on the shore, or villas in the second or third row, nestled in the nicely landscaped grounds.
From the villas, you can take a short walk to embark on boating tours of the traditional villages that hug the lake. These villages participate in the “5-Day Market”— an outdoor market that changes location every weekday. In addition to browsing the locally made pottery, textiles, and lacquerware, you can take tours to see how these distinctly Burmese items are handcrafted. Take cultural tours to see how locals weave lotus stalks into silk and watch as silversmiths shape the precious metal into jewelry and trinkets. Besides the 5-Day Market, this resort is also very nearby the busy Mine Thauk Market, which is a more practical market where you can get a sense of everyday life.
Between tours, guests should make time for rejuvenating trips to the spa and the outdoor pool. Travelers can keep up their fitness routine at the on-site gym and unwind in the sauna. There’s also a business center for anyone who needs to get some work done. It also has Wi-Fi.
Help yourself to the buffet breakfast. You can also opt to have meals served to you in your room or dine in the comfortable main building. This area is also where you’ll find the bar and lounge.
These villas are equipped with satellite cable and you can make calls on the International direct dial telephone. Rooms also come with TVs, minibars, and safety deposit boxes. All of the villas have their own living rooms with a desk and an armchair, as well as individually controlled air conditioning and heating. Each villa has its own private bathroom with a full-sized bathtub and bathrobes.
