Casa Andina Cusco Private Collection is located in a beautiful 18th-century house in Cusco. The hotel has a lovely layout, comfortable rooms and a central location.
It’s likely that at some point during your travels you’ll end up in Cusco. The town is one of Peru’s top destinations and is close to both Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. Cusco was originally settled by the Inca, but was taken over by the Spanish in the 16th century—even today, there are elements of both cultures present. While here, travelers will enjoy visiting the city’s many cultural sites (including old cathedrals and huge stone fortresses), sampling delicious restaurants, and getting out to hike, bike, or bird watch.
Casa Andina Cusco Private Collection is located just four blocks from Cusco’s main square. This makes it easy to capture the best of what the city has to offer, including historical sites, restaurants, bars, and shops.
The hotel is set within a lovely 18th-century mansion. It spreads around three attractive patios, which provide guests with awesome places to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Casa Andina’s gourmet restaurant, Alma, extends into the main patio, allowing you to dine in a pleasant outdoor setting. The food here is creative and tasty. A varied breakfast buffet of omelets, cereal, fruit, cheese, ham, juice, tea, and coffee is offered each morning. À la carte lunches and dinners are available throughout the rest of the day.
The hotel’s 93 rooms are distributed over two floors. The atmosphere here is quiet and relaxed. The rooms have comfortable beds and private bathrooms with hot water showers, bathtubs and hair dryers. If you’re someone that likes to have coffee or tea as soon as you wake up, you’ll appreciate the coffee/tea pot in each room. There is a safety deposit box where you can store important items and a heater to keep you warm during Cusco’s cooler months. All rooms also have an LCD TV and a desk/breakfast table. The suites have a king-size bed and separate living room.
Pisco sours can be ordered from the bar and enjoyed in the hotel’s sitting room, which is stocked with comfy red couches. Guests might also want to use the Wi-Fi here, although it is also available throughout the rest of the hotel. For those traveling without Wi-Fi devices, Casa Andina has an Internet center where you can get online.
Casa Andina Cusco Private Collection has an on-site massage room where guests can enjoy a variety of relaxing massages. There is an ATM in the hotel lobby and same-day laundry service available. The hotel also offers free airport shuttles, with departures every hour from 6 AM till 7 PM.
