Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Mai Chau before embarking on a scenic drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, a breathtaking landscape of lush valleys, terraced rice fields, and dense tropical forests. Nestled in the heart of northern Vietnam, Pu Luong is known for its serene beauty, rich biodiversity, and vibrant ethnic Thai and Muong communities. Along the way, we will meet our knowledgeable local guide and begin an immersive trek into Kho Muong village, one of the most remote and picturesque settlements in Pu Luong. As we descend into the valley, you'll be surrounded by panoramic views of terraced fields, limestone mountains, and traditional stilt houses. Kho Muong is home to the Thai ethnic minority, and you'll have the unique opportunity to learn about their way of life while enjoying a hearty lunch at a local home. After lunch, we continue our trek deeper into Pu Luong, following trails that wind through peaceful countryside and bamboo forests, eventually reaching Ban Khanh village. Here, you'll witness daily rural life, see farmers tending to their crops, and experience the quiet charm of this lesser-known corner of Vietnam. As the day winds down, our driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Ban Khanh, where you can relax and take in the tranquility of Pu Luong.

From here, the real adventure begins as you hike up into the mountains, following rugged trails that wind through rocky slopes and lush natural forests. As you ascend, the path becomes steep and challenging, offering rewarding panoramic views of the valley below. You’ll pass through dense bamboo forests and rocky cliffs, immersing yourself in the raw beauty of northern Vietnam’s untouched landscapes. Along the way, enjoy the serenity of nature, the songs of native birds, and the occasional sighting of local wildlife. Around midday, take a break and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of nature, surrounded by towering trees and fresh mountain air. After lunch, continue your trek through the highlands until you reach Sam Khoe Village, where your journey concludes. Your driver will be waiting here to take you back to your hotel in Mai Chau, where you can relax and reflect on an adventurous day in the mountains. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes, including lush rice paddies, charming villages, and rolling hills, providing an authentic glimpse of rural Vietnam. Upon reaching the grotto, embark on a guided tour through its impressive cave system. Inside, marvel at the intricate stalactites and stalagmites that adorn the chambers, each uniquely shaped over centuries. Your guide will share intriguing stories about the geological formations and the history of the grotto, making the experience both educational and awe-inspiring. Upon arriving in Ninh Binh, you will check into your accommodation and have a brief period to relax and freshen up. Ninh Binh, often referred to as the "Halong Bay on land," offers breathtaking karst landscapes set among vibrant green rice fields.
