Travel around the outskirts of Da Lat city to explore all the top attractions of this former French hill station. This full-day tour includes visits to the famed waterfalls, a serene zen monastery, the intriguing love valley and the summer palace of a former emperor.
Start your day early in the serene landscape surrounding the Truc Lam Zen Monastery. You’ll hike up to the monastery via the beautiful Tuyen Lam Lake and then have the chance to learn about Vietnamese Zen Buddhism. From Truc Lam you will continue on to visit one of Da Lat’s many waterfalls, the busy Datanla falls, where you will also stop for lunch.
After lunch, head to the old Da Lat Railway station which is an eye-catching example of Vietnamese art deco. Its bright yellow facade makes for fantastic photos, and inside you’ll find an old Japanese steam train. Another example of art deco architecture is Bao Dai’s summer palace, which you’ll tour after a visit to the unique and whimsical Valley of Love. Your final stop of the day is a dried flower showroom, where you can admire the many blooms native to Da Lat.
