Experience the best of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park on this full-day adventure tour. Travel along the storied Ho Chi Minh Trail, explore one of the most beautiful caves in the region, and kayak down the Chay River to a local village.
Start your day on the DT20, a section of road that was once a strategic part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail into Laos and southern Vietnam. From here you’ll visit the botanical gardens and learn about the unique ecosystems in the Phong Nha tropical forests.
Journey deeper into the national park to reach Paradise Cave, a 19-mile (31-km ) long cavern that boasts some of the most impressive stalagmites and stalactites in the region. You will be able to wander along a 1.2-mile raised walkway through the cave and admire the incredible natural formations lit up with soft, yellow lights.
After lunch, you’ll then hop in a kayak for a tour of the beautiful Chay River. You’ll paddle all the way to the Son River and then visit a charming little riverside village called Tram Me. Here you’ll have a chance to chat to the locals and learn about their lives in the national park.
