Phu Bai International Airport is one of Vietnam’s major airports – travelers to central Vietnam choose between here and the Da Nang Airport. Over a million travelers arrive here every year. This airport was originally built as an airforce base in the 1940s, but has served as a civilian airport since 1975. The airport last had an upgrade in 2013. While you wait for your flight, you can grab a bite in the food court and browse the souvenir shops.
