Learn more about the history and culture of Vietnam on this full-day tour of Nha Trang. You’ll explore the city’s natural, spiritual and cultural heritage with visits to museums, temples and local markets.
Your first stop on your culture tour of Nha Trang is the National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam. This area of the country is known for its abundant sea life, and this museum explores the marine diversity in depth.
You’ll then head back into town to visit the Long Son Pagoda and Nha Trang Cathedral. These two places of worship were built between the 19th and 20th centuries and continue to be important spiritual sanctuaries today. Making up the spiritual triangle of Nha Trang is the 7th-century Po Nagar Towers which were used as temples by the Cham people.
After exploring the Po Nagar Towers, you’ll travel a little farther north to the Hon Chong promontory. From the end of this unique collection of rocks jutting out into the sea, you’ll enjoy wonderful views back over the city, the coastline, and the islands in Nha Trang Bay.
On the way back into the city to your hotel, you’ll pay a visit to the Dam Market, the city’s central market where you can pick up local fruits, snacks, and souvenirs.
