Thanh Hoa is on the northern coast of Vietnam, bordered by the East Sea. There isn’t much here as far as visitor attractions, but visitors may use this city as a home base while they explore the surrounding countryside and nature reserves.
You might choose to stay in Thanh Hoa if you’re planning on spending a lot of time hiking in nature. From Thanh Hoa, it takes about 1.5 hours to get to Cuc Phuong Nature Reserve via private transportation. It takes a little over 3 hours to get to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
You can reach the karst formations of Ninh Binh in around 1.5 hours by car. There, you can choose to go boating on either the Trang An or the Tam Coc route. Both routes wind through limestone grottoes.
Frolic in the waves of Thanh Hoa's beaches, Sam-Son and Bai Dong. These aren’t Vietnam’s loveliest beaches, but worth checking out if you’re staying in the area.
The Mountain Retreat combines modernity and elegance. Only 160km away from the busy Hanoi, the peaceful Pu Luong Nature Reserve is a perfect escape to connect with a wild and unspoiled nature. The fairy scenery is like a painting. Impressive mountain ranges covered by forest, jungle and rice field terraces, the river curving in between in the valley and the farmer working in the fields make the area stunning. Pu Luong Eco Garden incorporates perfectly the environment and provide an infinity pool and executive rooms to contemplate and enjoy this unique atmosphere.
