Packing for Your Trip to Vietnam
Vietnam is hot and humid for much of the year but it is also a relatively conservative country. Bring light clothing in breathable, natural fabrics and bring layers to cover up in sacred attractions.

Vietnam is very sunny, so make sure to come prepared with sunscreen. Some areas, especially in the lowlands, have lots of mosquitoes, so bug spray is another must-have.
Make sure to pack a rain jacket and umbrella; the rainiest months are July-August and November-December. If you are planning to travel in the north of Vietnam between November and March, bring more layers as temperatures drop to 7-15 degrees with windchill.
