How Much Do I Tip Drivers and Other Service Workers?
Tipping is not part of Bali or Indonesian tradition, but it is greatly appreciated and will all but ensure excellent service. It's acceptable to simply round up prices in most cases.
Most restaurants add a 10 percent service charge into the bill. Taxi drivers similarly do not expect tips, but will often round up the fare. Hotels add a 10 percent service charge to the bill on top of the 10 percent tax.
