Restaurants in Bali offer a wide selection of fresh fish, shellfish, prawns, lobster, octopus and a few marine animals you may not have tried before. Jimbaran has a famous seafood market if you’d like to buy the catch of the day and cook it yourself, but is also known for a string of restaurants along the beach where you can enjoy a barbecued seafood dinner and sunset on the sand.
There are also fine sushi restaurants in towns like Seminyak and Ubud. Lovina, in North Bali, is known for seafood sate. You’ll find fresh seafood on the menu at fine dining establishments and local warungs around the island.
